(I am not quite sure if there is an actual question for this blog but at the end of the video there was kind of a hint of a question. but I am going to go out on a limb and answer witch theme occurs most often in philosophy)

However it is my belief that all of those themes are a main topic in American philosophy. Philosophy is the art of thinking so there is no specific theme because there is no theme for human thought. On the other hand I believe the most recurring theme is God. Since I am an Atheist I do not believe in god but I believe all other themes can be connected to weather or not there is a deity. Freedom from religion, being an individual when your religion is different, and perusing your own beliefs is a common topic among modern and ancient philosophy (as well as politics). Concepts of higher beings have been around since the world began so it makes sense that Gods and spirits would be something ancient races would discus. Religion and differences in faith has been the number one cause of war in the past millennium. People still discus there gods even when the company they are in would rather avoid the subject. Not only are gods called into question they are also the subject of the philosophers stories. Aesop would often tell stories using the gods as main characters (“Mercury and the woods man” “Venus and the cat” ect).
